CREATOR OF vincór

Hi, I am Christina! I always dreamed of having a blog. I would write on scrap paper the topics I would discuss, if I had a blog. I pushed my dream for far too long until recently. I decided that I would not let fear determine my life decisions. I am really excited about this new journey. 

I will briefly tell you about myself. I am a daydreamer, I love bargains, and creating new things. My fiancé and I purchased a condo last year, and we were on a tight budget, but that did not stop me. I bought the majority of our furniture in estate/yard sales. I added a fresh coat of paint, Anne Sloan Milk Paint, and they look amazing. Even if we had a bigger budget, I would choose vintage pieces again and again. There is something magical about vintage pieces. Each piece has a story, which are a mystery to us. 

When I am not looking for glassware pieces, I spend my time in the garden. I love gardening! The names created for the collections are inspired by plants. I name a collection based on the plant it resembles........Example and picture of example... Gardening is my therapy for me. ( is this needed???...I have a little pathway to our condo, and it is filled with potted plants. I have blueberry bushes, blackberries, succulents, and lots of herbs. When I get home from work I get enchanted by the garden, and I will spend a couple of minutes marveling  at the plants before entering our home. It is a great welcome home greeting. I also have indoor plants. They make our home feel cozy, and welcoming. I will admit I have a hard time keeping indoor plants alive). 

The last thing you should know about me is that I love the beach. We take our pup, Chevy, to the beach every morning on the weekend. I love taking walks on the beach,  and feeling the breeze. 

Besides family and friends, I am not sure if anyone will read my first post. I can’t wait to share my décor ideas, vintage finds, gardening tips, and pictures of our energetic pup. Get ready for the ride! Here we go!
